~In Velma and Roxie's final dance number, Roxie changes her shoes. In the beginning, Roxie's shoes have only an ankle strap, and halfway through the number, they suddenly develop a T-strap.
~In the courtroom scene when Billy Flynn does his "tap dance" a mic is visible on the top center of the screen.
~The pictures of Fred's kids appear in his wallet between shots when Roxie looks.
~During the "Roxie" number, right after she sings "Who says murder's not an art?!" Roxie walks past a line of mirrors. Halfway through the shot the camera crew is visible in the reflection just to the right of her.
~In the final scene where Roxie and Velma are dancing in the concert hall, Roxie is on the right and Velma is on the left. When they jump around to shoot their names into the lights, they have swapped sides.
~In the scene where Roxie is placed in the paddy wagon to be taken to Cook County Jail, the prosecutor refers to himself as District Attorney Harrison. However, the court system in Illinois doesn't have district attorneys; rather, they have state's attorneys. The original play by Maureen Watkins correctly calls him a state's attorney.
~Notice that the money Velma gives Mama from her garter during "When You're Good to Mama" is small like the modern bills, but later Amos pays Billy with the larger bills used then. (THANX SAMMY!)
~Near the end of the movie, after Roxie's audition, Velma is pitching her act again when Roxie puts on her coat and buttons it. The camera cuts back to Velma for a minute, then when it cuts back to Roxie her coat is unbuttoned, then seconds later she is walking through a door and her coat is buttoned again.
~In the "I Can't Do it Alone" number, during the first half her black stockings are sheer and she has an obvious run in her right one and a hole about the size of a quarter over her knee. When she tells Roxie the second half is better and finishes her number, not only is the run gone but the stockings are no longer sheer.
~During the "Razzle Dazzle" number, a girl on a swing drops a gun. Billy catches the gun in his right hand and moves stage left. In the next shot Billy, moving stage left has no gun in his right hand. He looks up and a gun drops in his hand.
~In the scene where Velma offers Roxie some caramels, Velma puts the box down on her left. In the next shot, it is at the corner of the table, on Velma's right, with the long side facing Roxie. In the next shot the short side is facing Roxie, then the long side again.
~In the courtroom, the United States flag has 50 stars..It should have 48. At the time Alaska and Hawaii had not yet been admitted into the Union.
